The Cheshire Cat Motel, is a small quiet, clean family run motel on the beach side of the Gold Coast Highway located at Palm Beach between Burleigh Heads and Coolangatta.

Palm Beach (voted Queensland's cleanest beach) is centrally located on the Gold Coast making it the ideal location to base your holiday and outdoor activities within comfortable driving distance of Surfers Paradise, Broadbeach and Jupiter's Casino and the Gold Coast's major restaurants and the Theme Park Trail. Byron Bay, the Gold Coast hinterland and the Queensland capital city of Brisbane being an easy day trip away.

Blessed with tidal waterways and white sandy beaches, the low-lying dunes and wide expanse of sand provide Palm Beach with an aquatic playground and fantasy like views from Coolangatta in the South to Surfers in the North, just a minutes stroll from your room at the Cheshire Cat Motel.

The Palm Beach and Currumbin surf is excellent and a sheltered lagoon for those who want quieter swimming is within easy walking distance. The beach is patrolled by local Lifesavers for your added safety. Small-boat access to the Coral Sea is within minutes via the natural waterways of the Currumbin and Tallebudgera creeks.

Palm Beach is away from the hustle and bustle enjoying the more relaxed and peaceful surrounds of the "coast with the most". Restaurants, shopping centres and bowls clubs are located within a short walking distance and our magnificent golf clubs and other sporting venues as well as Jupiter’s Casino can be found only minutes away. Fishing enthusiasts can test their skills on the surf beaches, on the off-shore reefs or in the Tweed and Nerang rivers and estuary systems.

Getting Here:
By Car - Access to the M1 is fast and easy with the Cheshire Cat Motel being located just 2 km from Palm Beach/Elanora Exit 92. The 90 km journey from Brisbane is easily accomplished in an hour.
By Air - Gold Coast Airport (Coolangatta) is less than 10 min drive. We offer a $5.00 each way pick up and delivery to the gold coast airport (bookings are essential).
By Train - Take a relaxing 90 minute Gold Coast train from Brisbane International or Domestic Terminals or City stops to Robina station. Trains depart half hourly. We will provide $10.00 each way transfers to and from the Station (bookings are essential).
By Bus - Surfside Bus Line services the area with routes 1, 1A, 6, 7 and 11.
